The first four teams have been in action in Edmonton and two teams have now progressed to the playoffs.

It was Evil Geniuses against three Canadian teams in Group A, where there was never any doubt in the Americans progressing in top spot. The three matches Evil Geniuses played saw a lot of fun-weapons, including PARA, scout, the auto-sniper and more, which give you an idea of how serious these matches were.

To follow Evil Geniuses to the playoffs are DINC, who managed to grab nine rounds against the Americans, plus victories against Berserk and Kindred.



Group B will set off at 18:00CET Saturday, with the main favorite of the group, compLexity, taking on NERDSMASHERS. Playoffs will be played on Sunday and remember that none of the matches in the playoffs will feature HLTV. Stay tuned for more updates from the American Championship Finals.
